KPL teams sold for Rs 35 crore
The bidding for eight franchises of the inaugural Karnataka Premier League (KPL) fetched a total of Rs 35 crore.
The highest bid was Rs 7.20 crore for the Bangalore Urban team that was clinched by a realtor group. Another realtor group bagged the Bangalore Rural team for Rs 5.55 crore.

Six KPL matches in Mysore:Wadayer
Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) President Srikantadutta Narasimharaja Wadayar today said that Six matches of the Karnataka Premier League (KPL) scheduled for next month would be played here.
Talking to newsmen here, he said that two matches would be played on each day of September 17, 18 and 19. |
